![]() TTW Realistic Wasteland Lighting - Reduced Sun. However, if you instead refuse to speak of your life in the Vault, you can then Purchase "MountedVaultSuit101Armored" from Moira's inventory, which has 12DT. Sweet6Shooter - This mod was my first go with scripting and message boxes. So, it looks like when you first visit Crater side Supply, if you speak to Moira Brown about your life in the Vault, you have the possibility to receive "MS03VaultSuit101Armored", the Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit with 8DT. Didn't know where to start until they helped. Also gave me the idea of making a version where the effects are altered depending on responses to Moira. RoyBatterian - Helped me along with darth regarding the QuestVariables conditions for the newly added effects. Didn't know how to start until they helped. Also recommended that I made a copy of the object effects so that my new effects attached to the 101 armor didn't effect the 21 or 13 variants. ![]() God forbid you forgot the suit in a container somewhere, started a new chapter, and went through hours of gameplay and then realized you didn't have the suit and missed out on a little +5 ER boost for the armor.ĭarthbdaman - For teaching me how to actually get started with this mod and changing the object effects through QuestVariables. Give her a forward and she'll give you the Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit. I didn't want to make the process tedious and make it where you have the suit equipped/with you when speaking to Moira. Ask about the vault suit and she'll offer it up if you help her with her book. If you weren't going to use the armor, there's no point in downloading this anyway. MUH IMMERSHUN!Ī: Yeah, it doesn't make sense. Q: How can the effects change when the armor isn't even in your inventory? That doesn't make sense. Anyone else is free to change this mod however they see fit. Since I don't know what I'm doing there, I'd rather not mess with it. A big cause of crashes come from bad meshes. Q: Why does this mod not alter the appearance of the armor?Ī: That's outside of what I know how to do. ![]() So long as it's not game-breakingly strong/weak, I may change the effects somehow. Can you add EffectA to replace EffectB? Can you increase/decrease EffectC?Ī: Maybe! I'm open to suggestions on altering the effects. I wanted this to be the first mod that I made a serious attempt at making. I simply wanted to give myself a reason to hold onto it a little further in the game, 2. I think it's a great, balanced armor and it serves its purpose early-game. Use your mod manager or drop into your Data folder.Ī: I love the Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit. Incompatible with anything that alters the Object Effect of the Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit. Anyone is free to use this mod and do so, however. I may make a version that changes the 21 and 13 suits with different effects as well.Ĭurrently, I have no plans to change the armors appearance. I do intend to release a version later on that has the suit effects change depending on how you answer Moira's questions for your tasks (like snide or intelligent response), or depending on if you do the bonus objectives in a chapter. You already get several rewards for doing the WSG. I didn't want to go too crazy with the added effects or buffing its vanilla ones because it is an early game armor and so that it doesn't mess with balance much. This does not effect the appearance of the armor in anyway. Yes, you will still get the effects if it's equipped or in your inventory too. You'll get the message and effect added to the armor regardless. You do not have to have the armor equipped or in your inventory. ![]() You'll also see the effects in the Armor section and Effects section in the Pip-Boy. You'll get a corner message in-game when the effects are added. It doesn't matter which task you start with, however. ![]() To get the effects, you have to begin the next chapter of the quest. Nothing is changed except that new effects get added. The suit still keeps its vanilla effects, and DT/DR, along with the progress effects. The 21 and 13 armored suits are not changed. While not recommended, a save game that has the Wasteland Survival Guide completed/active will have the effects added automatically depending on progress. Let me know in the comments on this page.Īs with adding any mod, a new save is always recommended. Note: Please do not bother the TTW team regarding problems or questions with this mod. I wanted to make this to just prolong its usefulness a little bit further by adding a few effects. While I do think it's already balanced fairly considering it's an early game light armor, I do think it gets outclassed pretty quickly. The Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit is one of my favorite armors, and pretty much my go to armor for the first good chunk of a TTW playthrough. This mod makes it to where the Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit will gain new effects as you progress through the Wasteland Survival Guide quest. ![]()
